Disneyland Paris has shared new concept art and the name for the lake that is part of the expansion of Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disney Adventure World Lake Expansion Name Revealed
This massive, 70,000 cubic meter lake will be known as “Adventure Bay.”
The lake will be “surrounded by picturesque banks and a promenade at the heart of the park’s expansion,” and will serve as the gateway to the themed lands around it, including the newly-named World of Frozen.
Located on the Adventure Bay promenade, called “Adventure Way,” will be The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, as seen in the concept art above. This new table-service restaurant will offer views of Adventure Bay, as well as a chance to meet favorite Disney Princesses.
Raiponce Tangled Spin will also be located on Adventure Way.
As seen in the construction photo above, the lake will also feature an entertainment stage with a 360-degree viewing area. The lake will also offer fountains, music, lights, and special effects, and will be “fitted with the latest technologies for water-based entertainment.”
Last August, a video was released of Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro and President of Disneyland Paris Natacha Rafalski “walking on water” at the lake’s construction site.
More details on Adventure Bay and Adventure Way will be released in the future, so stay tuned for more updates!
