A new set of light poles has been added to the area in front of Frontierland Railroad Station in Magic Kingdom.

New Lights Added to Frontierland Railroad Station

With construction walls beginning to come down in the location around Frontierland Railroad Station, more and more new additions are being added to the still-under-construction area. Most recently, we spotted new light poles installed, particularly toward the left side of the front of the station. The new lighting joins the recently-added Frontierland props.

In mid-March, construction walls and rolling planters kept guests away from this area, as new greenery was being added. Now, a new set of lampposts has been put in place.

There appears to be two different types of lamps added to the area. Here, in the section near the left stairs that lead to the train entrance, you can see both.

The majority of the lights that will illuminate the area around the Frontierland Railroad Station appear as above. Each post has two fixtures that have a design that fits right in with the rest of Frontierland.

These light poles continue through to the path that currently leads to the restrooms in the area.

The lighting leading up the staircase is more of a lantern design, similar to what we’ve recently seen installed at the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure flume area.
