Tiana’s Foods Boxes Arrive at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom

New Tiana’s Foods props have arrived at the queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom.

Stacks of wood boxes are outside the queue’s barn. These are near the Tiana’s Foods delivery truck that arrived earlier this month.

Each box is branded with a green Tiana’s Foods stamp. The boxes on the left have metal detailing that the boxes on the right lack. There are also sheets of brown canvas between each box.

This might not be the final location for the boxes, which seem to be slightly blocking the entrance to the barn. They may instead go behind the nearby fence with the truck.

Some of the lampposts in the queue have been uncovered while others remain wrapped in plastic. The posts are dark blue, like the queue railings. Lights are hanging from two of the lampposts.

We previously reported on a garden under construction in the back of the queue. We saw crew members in this area again. Fake plants stick out of large brown planters.

From the ground, we could see the painted “Tiana’s Bayou General” sign beyond construction walls. This is one of two Tiana’s Bayou Adventure stores, replacing Splashdown Photos.

The other store is Critter Co-Op, replacing Briar Patch.

New paneling has been installed on the façade between the barn and station platform. A crew member was on the scaffolding during our visit on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, more plants have been installed around this loop of the queue’s path on the other side of the train station.

Plants now run in rows beneath the station’s completed staircase.

More lampposts have also been installed in front of the station.

The lights on these posts are similar to those in the back of the queue. The posts, however, are made of wood instead of metal.

The other staircase for the train station appears to be complete. Disney took advantage of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction to demolish and reconstruct both staircases. The one on the other side of the station was completed first.

There are metal handrails on the wood railings of the staircase.

Wires attached to the handrails suggest crews will install lights on the staircase next.

The ramp remains open, with a scrim separating it from the staircase construction. A short construction wall blocks the doorway on the platform that usually leads to the stairs.

We didn’t see any crew members working on the ride’s mountainous façade. In the story of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this is an old salt mine that Tiana’s Foods has taken over to grow crops inside. Scaffolding remains around the mill and on some of the ridges.

The mountain is covered in foliage — real and fake. White and pink flowers dot the dome.

Around the opening of the drop are bottle lanterns from Mama Odie’s home.

We saw crew members walking along the ride’s flume near the train station.

We saw more crew members working on wiring next to the loop at the bottom of the drop.

One crew member was on the central peninsula. Four more were working on the near side, next to a ride testing sign.

Another crew member was on the other side of the peninsula.

Several log ride vehicles were also parked in this area of the flume. Some had red tags on them.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open this summer at Magic Kingdom and later in the year at Disneyland.
