Crews have finished refurbishing the exterior of Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom. Work began in September 2023 and has moved across the façade in both Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

The quick-service restaurant remained open during the refurbishment, with construction walls and scrim carefully placed around stairs and doors. Construction walls came down about two weeks ago but some scrim was still attached to the building.
Work included planting fresh trees and foliage in planters. Crews repainted the façades, which resemble several colonial houses, but did not change their color schemes.
One of the last remaining pieces of scrim was over the Columbia Harbour House mural next to the main entrance.
That scrim is now gone and the mural looks freshly repainted or replaced. Like the rest of the building, its design did not change.
“Columbia Harbour House” is on a painted ribbon across the top of the mural. The Sailing Ship Columbia is pictured in a colonial harbor, with some sailors in a rowboat nearby.
Years ago, the mural did have a simpler design featuring a whale.
The Fantasyland side of Columbia Harbour House, which has slightly more medieval architecture, was completed first.
A bridge crosses over the walkway between the restaurant and Memento Mori, the Haunted Mansion gift shop. The inside of the bridge is a dining room but does not actually offer interior access to the store.
One of the last details completed was the addition of plants to the stone planter along the side of the building.
Columbia Harbour House has two floors of dining and guests can people watch from windows. It’s open for lunch and dinner beginning at 11 a.m. each day.
The restaurant’s menu includes sandwiches, fried shrimp, fried chicken, fried fish, grilled salmon, soups, and salads.
