The limited-edition April 2024 cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is the returning White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie. New this month is the Pineapple Dream Cake, available by slice on select days.

The featured character on the collectible April 2024 menu card is Holly Mackerel.

Also available this month is the Limited Edition Banana Nitro Cold Brew and Holly Mackerel merchandise.

Both treats for April share golden and white hues.

White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cookie – $6.50

In their description of the White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cookie on Instagram, Gideon’s says that the “caramel bakes right in and sometimes even explodes right out to offer you a Cookie that is fun and packed with flavors.” The cookie has been updated since its previous appearances with a “generous coating” of Macadamia Nut Crumble on top.

We found the cookie to be very gooey, more so than usual for a treat from Gideon’s Bakehouse. If you’re a fan of salty and sweet flavors mixing, this is the cookie for you. This cookie sports a rich caramel flavor. We do wish it had included more macadamia nuts.

We recommend sharing this with someone else, as it is a heavy treat. The crumble on top will also get everywhere, so be careful when enjoying!

Pineapple Dream Cake – $9

The new Pineapple Dream Cake is made of Gideon’s Vanilla Cake, covered in Pineapple Buttercream, and layered with housemade Pineapple Jam, Pineapple Caramel, and Brown Butter Crumbs. It is available by the slice every Wednesday and Saturday this April.

This is a heavy cake — literally. We couldn’t lift it out of the box. But it’s wrapped well, the box is sturdy, and it comes with a fork.

When you open the box, the smell of pineapple hits you immediately. We felt transported to Hawai’i. It’s a rich and soft cake. We love the crispy brown butter crumbs. They add some nice texture to the soft cake.

Every inch of the cake tastes like pineapple. If you like DOLE Whip, you have to try this. But share it with friends. It’s a good size for four people and $9 is a fair price for the size.
