Two more Smellephants on Parade statues have been installed in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. The new experience, sponsored by Scentsy, is inspired by the “Pink Elephants on Parade” sequence of “Dumbo.”
Smellephants on Parade Statues
This statue is located near the Lightning Lane entrance to Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It’s inspired by a colorful snowcone.
The elephants stand on yellow circus-inspired bases with golden triangle designs. They are surrounded by red posts with flags. Some of the flags read “Smellephants on Parade” and “Presented by Scentsy.”
The snowcone elephant features a gradient of blue, green, yellow, and red. There are white specks and stars across it.
It has light blue snowflake-patterned pants.
This elephant carries a golden flag in its trunk.
The second new statue is inspired by caramel apples.
Its top half is red with yellow-gold splotches.
Its bottom half is caramel-colored with chocolate swirls.
This statue carries a Smellephants on Parade drum and golden mallets.
It’s located in a flowerbed outside Big Top Souvenirs.
The bases and posts hide lights and smellitizers, which will emit the corresponding scents of each Smellephant statue.
“New act debuting soon” signs are located throughout Storybook Circus, including near the new caramel apple statue. There will be eight Smellephants on Parade statues total.
The first elephant statue, inspired by popcorn, was installed this weekend.
Scentsy began sponsoring Dumbo the Flying Elephant last year after Smellephants on Parade was announced. The new experience is a “search-and-sniff” adventure. Guests will become “Whiff-sistants” when they pick up a map and stickers at the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs. “Whiff-sistants” then find the elephant statues and identify their scents.
An exact start date for the experience hasn’t been announced.
