Three Meet and Greets Return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Three meet and greets have returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as of Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Pocahontas Meet and Greet

Pocahontas has returned to the rocks on the east side of Oasis, near the bridge to Discovery Island. She and the other returning meet and greet characters will no longer appear on flotillas, instead resuming a full day meet and greet schedule. The characters are typically available intermittently between park open and 4 p.m. We advise checking the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app to verify appearance times for specific dates.

Pluto is meeting in DinoLand U.S.A. near Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. He is wearing a purple patterned scarf that serves as his collar, complete with a bone-shaped nametag.

Goofy is also meeting in DinoLand U.S.A. near Chester & Hester’s. He’s in a throwback outfit from the days of Camp Minnie-Mickey and has everything he needs for a full day of birdwatching.

Goofy is tracking the “birdies” he sees in unique categories: chirpy birdies, squawky birdies, birdies that float, song & dance birdies, birdies that make him happy, and really really big birdies.

His water bottle has a Camp Minnie-Mickey sticker. Camp Minnie-Mickey was a land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom until 2014, when it closed to make way for Pandora – The World of Avatar.
