A wooden enclosure under a high ceiling, reminiscent of a Caribbean Beach Resort, features potted plants in the foreground and a group of people near a counter in the background. Signs are posted on the enclosure.

A small section of the lobby at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been blocked off by construction walls. The inaccessible location is near the exit of Centertown Market, a quick-service dining location, and usually features couches and chairs for guests to sit on.

It is unclear what work is being done behind the walls, as this refurbishment was not previously announced by Disney. However, the walls don’t block the entire carpeted area, so it’s likely this is just routine maintenance and we won’t see any major changes.

This is not the first time in 2024 that part of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has closed to the public. Earlier this year, the Fuentes del Morro Pool underwent routine maintenance.
