Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood will both feature a haunted house inspired by “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.”

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire House

Four people in red parkas equipped with gear approach a tall, horned creature in an icy, mystical environment filled with ice crystals, as if they’ve stepped out from Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Universal released the following trailer across Halloween Horror Nights social media with the description:

An ancient artifact has released a chilling new entity, Garraka. He’ll stop you cold. Only the Ghostbusters can keep you from getting iced.

“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” was released earlier this year as a sequel to “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” a continuation of the original two “Ghostbusters” films. In the movie, Garraka is a phantom god attempting to build an army of ghosts and freezing New York City in the process.

A Ghostbusters-inspired house has been rumored for months. The franchise is represented in the summer Tribute Store and the upcoming Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida.

This is the second IP-inspired haunted house announced for both coasts following “A Quiet Place.”

Halloween Horror Nights 2024 at Universal Studios Hollywood will also feature the houses Monstruous 2: The Nightmares of Latin America and “Dead Exposure: Death Valley.”

Halloween Horror Nights 33 at Universal Studios Florida will have Triplets of Terror, Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, Slaughter Sinema 2, Goblin’s Feast, Major Sweets Candy Factory, and The Museum: Deadly Exhibits. This leaves just two more houses to be announced for Orlando.

Tickets are on sale for HHN on both coasts.
