Disney has unveiled the medals that runners will receive during the 2024 runDisney Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend, which will be held from September 5-8.

2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Medals

Revealed via an Instagram post by runDisney, the collection includes medals for the half marathon, 5K, 10K, Chills & Thrills Challenge, and Kids Races.

Half Marathon

A colorful Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon medal featuring animated characters is displayed with a blurred castle in the background.

The half marathon medal features Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow as Winnifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson from “Hocus Pocus,” respectively. The witchy group smiles together in front of a spooky, silhouetted Sleeping Beauty Castle as a bat flies overhead. “2024” is printed in white along the top right, and “Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon” is present in a yellow font at the bottom.

The neck strap also includes the trio set against dark pink and purple stripes, with the runDisney wordmark in white.

This race will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Halloween 10K featuring Haunted Mansion

A Disneyland Halloween 10K medal with a spooky design is displayed in front of a blurred view of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The medal for the Halloween 10K this year features none other than the three Hitchhiking Ghosts of the Haunted Mansion. The medal is modeled like a framed portrait one might find in the mansion, with a silver door knocker attached to a “2024” plaque. Inside the circle are the Hitchhiking Ghosts below “Disneyland Halloween 10K,” printed in a slime green color. A pair of spooky eyes and a bat are to the left.

The neck strap is a shade of greenish-blue synonymous with the Haunted Mansion.

This race will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Chills & Thrills Challenge

A "Nightmare Before Christmas" medal for completing 19.3 miles is held in front of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The Chills & Thrills Challenge medal will be awarded to racers who complete both the 10K and the Half Marathon.

The medal itself features Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” surrounded by yellow filigree. “20” and “24” are on either side of Jack, who is present in the center on what appears to be a spinner. Above and below him are the logo for “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “19.3 miles.”

The neck strap is purple-and-black-striped and features the wordmark for the Chills & Thrills Challenge.

Halloween 5K

A medal from the Disneyland Halloween 5K event, featuring two illustrated characters, hangs against a backdrop of a wooden building and a water wheel.

The Halloween 5K this year is themed to Chip and Dale. The medal features Chip wearing a pirate costume and Dale dressed as an astronaut. The pair is set against a spiderweb-like orange and black design, with the race’s wordmark in yellow at the bottom. The neck strap is black-and-orange-striped, with the chipmunks running after candy.

This race will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Kids Races

This year’s Kids Races for the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend are themed to Pixar’s “Cars.” The medal is circular and features a 3D image of Mater as a vampire, with his tow hook floating behind him like a cape. The wordmark for runDisney Kids Races is above him in red and white against a yellow backdrop, and a bar with the Disneyland Resort wordmark is at the bottom.

These races will occur on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Merchandise for this year’s Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend was revealed earlier this year.
