New EPCOT Mural Installed at Park Entrance

A new EPCOT mural has been installed in the park’s entrance area, replacing an outdated mural featuring elements that no longer exist.

Updated EPCOT Mural

People standing in line beneath a covered walkway near a large bush, with a mural featuring a geodesic sphere and roller coaster in the background.

The mural is to the right when facing Spaceship Earth. It acts as a backdrop for character meet and greets. On Thursday morning, Pluto was meeting guests in front of the mural.

Colorful illustration of a futuristic park with a geodesic dome lit up, a fountain, and a monorail moving through the scene with people gathered around.

The new artwork depicts the entrance area at dusk, with pink clouds against a blue sky. Spaceship Earth is pictured with its colorful lights activated. Guests are below the icon, surrounded by golden light.

In front of Spaceship Earth is the park’s fountain, its lucite pylons illuminated and sparkling. Monorail Orange is pictured driving on a track over a bed of red flowers.

The artwork is not an exact representation of the entrance’s layout. It’s more like stylistic concept art. Compare this to the old mural below.

This one depicted the long-gone Fountain of Nations behind Spaceship Earth. A Monorail was also pictured, further in the distance.

The new mural reflects the completed EPCOT reimaging.
