A new “Lilo and Stitch” pin featuring alien characters from the film is now available at Walt Disney World.

‘Lilo and Stitch’ Pin – $17.99

A person holds a colorful Disney pin featuring characters from "Lilo & Stitch." The pin is still in its packaging, displayed against a backdrop of other Disney pins.

We found the new pin in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom. In the center of the pin, Stitch wears his red prisoner’s uniform and smiles from inside a glass capsule. He is surrounded by other aliens who appeared in the first film.

Stitch’s main nemesis, Captain Gantu, and the leader of the United Galactic Federation, Grand Councilwoman, show signs of distress as they stare at Stitch. Pleakley wears a blue and yellow uniform with diagrams rolled up and tucked under his arm. In his other hand, he happily holds up an image of a mosquito. Dr. Jumba Jookiba smiles below him while wearing a white lab coat.

Several animated alien characters, including a tall figure with antler-like protrusions and a small robot, stand in a futuristic setting with a blue background, reminiscent of scenes from Stitch's Great Escape Pin adventures.

The bottom of the pin features two members of the Galactic Federation. A three-eyed green alien in a purple and pink uniform watches Stitch. Next to him, a gray robot with three antennae poking out of his head holds a white-gloved hand up to his mouthless face.

Though this character never speaks in the film, he vomits when Stitch says “Meega Nala Kweesta” in his native language, Tantalog. Chris Sanders — the co-writer and co-director of the film, as well as the voice for Stitch — has stated that what the alien says to make the robot throw up is so bad that he won’t even translate it.

This pin drops just days before 626 Day, June 26, which honors Stitch (known as Experiment 626). Earlier in June, Stitch 626 merchandise was released at Disneyland Resort.

A live-action remake of the original animated film is currently in production. It is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, who directed and co-wrote “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.”
