Pride Month 2024 Photo Op and Prop at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating Pride Month with a photo op and prop available near the entrance to Pandora — The World of “Avatar” and Tiffins Restaurant.

Pride Month Photo Op

A mural featuring the word "LOVE" in large white letters with a silhouette of two cartoon mice kissing within the "O," set against a background of rainbow and other colorful stripes, carefully crafted with an eye for detail as if it were an auto draft by a skilled artist.

The photo op is the same as last year’s. The gates are decorated with rainbow stripes, including black and brown stripes representing people of color and pink, white, and blue stripes representing transgender individuals. These colors combined with the traditional rainbow flag create the “Progress” Pride flag.

Swirls of leaf-like naturalistic patterns are across the stripes. “Love” is in white lettering in the center. Mickey’s silhouette sticks out of the “o.”

Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed at the photo op have a prop guests can hold. It features two white gloves like Mickey’s pressed together to create a heart shape. Inside the heart are the stripes of the Progress Pride flag.
