The franchise centers around stories in a world where alien creatures with superpowered hearing have invaded, and survivors must learn to live without making sound. The first film follows the Abbott family, who have to navigate survival while protecting their children, including a baby born during the events of the film.

This year’s event takes place from August 30 through November 3 at Universal Studios Florida. Single-night tickets and RIP tours are on sale now.

So far, the confirmed houses include six original concepts: Slaughter Sinema 2 (a sequel to the 2018 original house), Goblin’s Feast, Major Sweets Candy Factory (based on the Sweet Revenge scare zone from HHN 31), The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, and Triplets of Terror.

In addition to A Quiet Place, other rumored IPs (intellectual properties — haunted houses or scare zones using licensed characters and concepts not owned by Universal) include Ghostbusters and an unknown property from Blumhouse, which many fans are hoping will be “Five Nights at Freddy’s.”
