Construction walls have come down around the Epic Universe Preview Center at Universal CityWalk Orlando, which is scheduled to open sometime this month.

Walls Down at Epic Universe Preview Center

Now that the walls are down, we can completely see the portal entryway into the Preview Center. The sign was installed earlier this week.

A building with an arch-shaped entrance labeled "Preview Center Epic Universe" with reflective glass doors and a modern design. The location appears to be in an entertainment or amusement area.

In Epic Universe, guests will enter each land by passing through themed portals. The entrance to the park will be its own massive, towering portal known as the Chronos.

A glass window reflects interior lights, exterior palm trees, ride structures, and a blue sky. Two EXIT signs are visible at the top of the glass.

The entry doors are quite reflective, but we saw a cluster of lighting hanging from the ceiling inside.

A large circular window with a sunburst design frames a view of a busy outdoor scene, reflecting a tree and nearby buildings. The window features a Universal Orlando logo in the center.

This display window features a burst of gold lines coming from a circle.

The reflection on a glass door shows a park scene with the logo "Universal Epic Universe" prominently displayed.

Inside is a medallion featuring the Epic Universe logo.

The walls to either side of the portal feature a starry galactic sky, similar to the marketing art for the new park.

A large, blank LED screen with a faint red grid pattern is mounted on the exterior of a dark building. The sky is clear and blue in the background.

The massive screen on the upper portion of the building has also been completed.

The Preview Center will also include a massive model of the new park, which can be enhanced with augmented reality (AR) via compatible mobile devices. We recently got a behind-the-scenes look at that model.

In addition, we also noticed that all of the Epic Universe merchandise previously available for purchase in the Universal Studios Store is no longer on display. It has likely all been moved over to the Preview Center.

Epic Universe is scheduled to open in 2025. An exact opening date for the Preview Center has not been announced.
