Theming reminiscent of the Blumhouse Productions logo has been added (and immediately covered up) next to the Fisherman’s Wharf sign in San Francisco at Universal Studios Florida, seemingly confirming a scare zone themed to the production company.

Halloween Horror Nights 33 Blumhouse Theming

A large BH sculpture, reminiscent of Blumhouse Theming, is displayed near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, surrounded by signage, buildings, and a few people walking nearby.

Though no official announcement has been made about a Blumhouse scare zone, the first themed structure for the implied scare zone has been erected at Universal Studios Florida.

The black Blumhouse house logo sits on an elevated stand. Rather than the house being shaped like a square, the walls of the structure converge on each other. In each of the four corners of the structure, there is a white “B” and a white “H.”

A large black structure with the letters "BH", hinting at Blumhouse Theming, stands on a platform in an outdoor area surrounded by buildings and signage. A small sign on the platform reads "DO NOT CLIMB". The Universal Orlando Resort installation is perfect for Halloween Horror Nights.

Because of the way the theming is designed, you can look at it straight on and find the “B” and “H” separated by a black wall. This new structure can be found in front of the currently shuttered Chez Alcatraz. Last year, this area was home to the Shipyard 32: Horrors Unhinged scare zone.

Almost an hour after we first photographed the new structure, it was covered with black scrim to hide the Blumhouse logo from passing guests, as the scare zone has not been officially announced. The covering will likely be removed once an announcement has been made.

This Blumhouse scare zone is the only one that has not been revealed by Universal Orlando Resort for Halloween Horror Nights 33. The other four scare zones include Demon Queens, Duality of FearTorture Faire, and Swamp of the Undead.

All 10 haunted houses for this year’s event have been revealed: Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, Insidious: The Further, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” “A Quiet Place,” Triplets of TerrorMonstruos: The Monsters of Latin AmericaSlaughter Sinema 2Goblin’s FeastMajor Sweets Candy Factory, and The Museum: Deadly Exhibits. “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus” will serve as the stage show for the event.
