To celebrate the 4th of July 2024, Mickey and his pals are dressed in their finest “Spirit of ’76” costumes for a meet and greet outside of The American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT.

Guests have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto to celebrate the 4th of July. The trio can be found under an overhang to the right side of the pavilion.

Three costumed characters from Disney, dressed as pirates, pose together in front of a greenery-filled backdrop, bringing an unexpected twist to the 4th of July celebrations.

Mickey and Goofy appear in red and blue coats, while Pluto has a red, white, and blue sash. They all wear black tricorn hats.

Two chipmunk mascots, embodying the spirit of '76, stand in front of a decorated backdrop with flowers. They're adorned with tricolor sashes and hats, adding a touch of patriotic charm to the festive scene.

We also saw Chip and Dale meeting guests in between visits from Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto.

4th of July at Walt Disney World Resort

Fireworks illuminate the sky above a large, brightly lit castle at night, casting streaks of light and explosions in varying colors. Celebrating Fourth of July, the castle is surrounded by a crowd of enthusiastic people.

The 4th of July festivities are in full force at the Walt Disney World Resort. Fireworks and DJ dance parties happened yesterday at Magic Kingdom, and will take place again tonight.

Magic Kingdom’s festive fireworks spectacular, Disney Celebrates America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, will be performed at 9:20 p.m. tonight.

At EPCOT, you can find the recently opened ‘Portraits of Courage,’ an exhibit showcasing over 60 oil paintings by former President George W. Bush that pay tribute to service members and veterans who have served since 9/11. Spaceship Earth will also light up in red, white, and blue lighting this evening, with the lighting around World Celebration set to match. “The Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks tag will also be performed the evening of July 4 following “Luminous: The Symphony of Us.”

A cappella group Voices of Liberty will perform patriotic songs throughout the day in The American Adventure rotunda. Meanwhile, you can find a special limited-time food offering, the Barbecue Pulled Chicken Sandwich just a few steps away at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
