The latest additions to the flex space area in World Celebration throw plenty of shade — in the traditional sense, anyway. Large overhead shades have been installed over the picnic tables.
New Shades Added at EPCOT Flex Space
The new shades are triangular in shape, and cover the picnic table seating area at the flex space.
Fans are positioned along the tall white poles to keep air flowing.
When this area opened back in June, the shades had not yet been installed, as shown in the image above. However, the picnic tables did offer white umbrellas for some form of shade.
The shades are attached at the top of the white columns, with the string lights hanging below them.
