Earth Sculpture Finally Spinning Again Outside Mission: SPACE

The Earth sculpture in Planetary Plaza outside Mission: SPACE at EPCOT is finally spinning again.

The Earth sculpture was removed in August 2023 as part of a long ongoing refurbishment of the attraction’s façade. Earth returned in March 2024. However, we haven’t seen the planet spinning since around late 2021/early 2022. As of Wednesday, August 7, it’s rotating again. See the Earth spinning in our video embedded below.

The Mission: SPACE façade refurbishment also includes ongoing work on the large Mars sculpture guests enter through. The attraction remains open during construction.
