We got a first look at the upcoming Coco merchandise collection coming to Disney Parks next month. It will arrive at Disneyland Resort on September 3, and sometime in September at Walt Disney World.
New Coco Merchandise
The collection is in celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, as well as Día de los Muertos, and the Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure. We were given a preview of the collection at a media event at Disneyland, but it’s not yet available for purchase.
Toy Guitar
The guitar, modeled after Héctor’s, lights up and plays music from the movie.
Crossbody Bag
Most of the merchandise features a design reminiscent of lotería cards. The card designs feature members of the Rivera family and iconography from the movie.
Button-up Shirt
The button-up shirt also includes a lotería card-inspired design, with members of the Rivera family and more from the film.
Ear Headband and Tumbler
The ear headband features alebrije Dante and Miguel, with a colorful bow in the center. The tumbler is squared with different designs on each side, including Ernesto de la Cruz.
Hoodie
A hoodie comes in tan with the six main characters (other than Ernesto) on the front.
Hand Fan
The hand fan is black with natural spokes, and continues the lotería cards design story.
Housewares
Housewares featuring colorful art of the characters will also be available.
Cast Members told us that these items will also eventually make their way online to the Disney Store, where it will be an “evergreen” merchandise collection.
