More “Ghostbusters” theming has been added to Halloween Horror Nights food booths in the New York section of Universal Studios Florida.
‘Ghostbusters’ Food Booths
The two booths match the “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” house, which is inspired by the film of the same name. This booth resembles a frozen stone building. Newly added is the Ghostbusters logo and a Slimer cutout.
The logo makes it clear this booth is inspired by the firehouse that acts as the Ghostbusters headquarters.
Slimer also appears frozen where he hovers next to the logo.
The booth next door is Ivan’s NYC Deli & Grocery, named after Ivan Reitman, the late director of the first two “Ghostbusters” films. There are now several Mini-Pufts on the booth’s sign.
The Mini-Pufts are small versions of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, an iconic element of the first “Ghostbusters.” The Mini-Pufts first appeared in “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
The Mini-Pufts are depicted via cutouts. They’re made to look like they’re climbing all over the deli booth. One is leaping off the booth, while another holds its leg.
A trio of them are helping hold up the Ivan’s sign.
The themed cash wraps for the food booths are on the other side, facing Transformers: The Ride 3D. The “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” house will likely be located by the nearby firehouse, which once housed the Ghostbusters Spooktacular show.
