Disney and Lucasfilm released a new logo for “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” the next “Star Wars” film coming to theaters.

The logo resembles that of “The Mandalorian” Disney+ series. The silhouettes of Din Djarin (the titular Mandalorian) and Grogu are in the “O” of “Mandalorian.”

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni appeared onstage at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to talk about the film. Footage shown at D23 but not released publicly included Zeb, a “Star Wars: Rebels” character who made a cameo in “The Mandalorian” season 3, wishing good luck to Mando and Grogu. It also featured Anzellans (like Babu Frik). Anzellan mechanics were featured in season 3 as well. Many clips were on an icy planet like Hoth, including a sequence of Mando and Grogu piloting an AT-ST.

A large screen displays the text "In Theaters May 2026" against a backdrop of an orange and yellow abstract design, reminiscent of a vibrant scene from The Mandalorian.

As previously announced, “The Mandalorian & Grogu” will be in theaters on May 22, 2026. Production began earlier this summer in Los Angeles.
