The D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event has given a closer look at some of the interior designs for two of the upcoming Disney Cruise Line ships: the Disney Destiny & Disney Treasure.

Disney Treasure

A vision board of sorts for the Disney Treasure shows off the main theming and color schemes. Imagery of Aladdin and Jasmine flying on the Magic Carpet, along with a mosaic of Rajah is featured. The color scheme seems to lend itself to various shades of blue, with accents of dark orange and mossy green. With the concept art of the atrium, the main aesthetic seems to be lending itself to “adventure.”

Textiles of peacocks and Abu are featured.

The placard underneath the scarab reads, “Our treasure grand hall is layered with rich textures and intricate designs that draw on influences such as North Africa, the far East…and the mythical kingdom of Agrabah. Nods to Aladdin and other beloved characters are featured in the mosaics, carpeting and light fixtures, welcoming guests into a whole new world.”

Disney Destiny

A Disney-themed design board features an illustrated mural, a hotel room mock-up, conceptual art, and color swatches. Key card designs display the numbers 12345, and "Disney Destiny" text is visible.

Contrasting with the Treasure, the Disney Destiny seems to lean on a more fantasy-based theme. Art of Sorcerer Mickey can be found above the stateroom number, a landscape portrait of Hercules can be found above the bed, and the carpet is decorated with golden stars.

A display features a framed illustration with a three-dimensional sculpture of characters, set against a light towel with "DIS" partially visible.

This placard reads, “our Destiny staterooms are a true tribute to the daring heroes and sometimes playful villains of various Disney animated films. Their stories are told throughout the space in the most beautiful artwork featuring some of our most memorable characters and scenes.”

A full image of the Hercules portrait is laid out here, with Hades and Megara, along with the Muses, on the left side of the artwork, laid against a purple background. On the right side, we see Philoctetes standing on a tower amongst the clouds, as Hercules and Pegasus fly above.

In a nod to Fantasia, a portrait of Sorcerer Mickey is also featured, with Chernabog looming in the distance.

The Disney Treasure will have its maiden voyage on December 21, 2021. While the Destiny does not have a maiden voyage date set yet, bookings begin September 6 for select guests, and September 12 for the public.
