• The first-ever Skipper’s Adventure tiki mug has arrived at Disneyland Resort.
• Disneyland Resort is celebrating the kickoff of the D23 Ultimate Fan Event this weekend, and a special one-time-only D23 Day Cavalcade was performed at Disneyland Park.
• Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort has teased that the resort could be receiving a large amount of announcements during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Expo.
• The first batch of merchandise celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort has been revealed.
• Guests at the D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event will get a first look at the ride vehicle and more for the Avengers King Thanos Multiverse attraction coming to Disney California Adventure.

• A fire broke out in Tokyo DisneySea at the ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’ attraction, leading to minor injuries of one Cast Member.

Disneyland Paris

• Disneyland Paris has announced that fans can expect some new announcements for the resort at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this August 9 through 11.
• A model of Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) at Disneyland Paris has been revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Expo and several empty plots of land appear on the model, hinting at things that might be revealed for the park this weekend or potential future expansion.

• The Haunted Mansion Parlor attraction poster and other details have been revealed at the D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event. 
• The D23: Ultimate Disney Fan Event has given a closer look at some of the interior designs for two of the upcoming Disney Cruise Line ships: the Disney Destiny & Disney Treasure.

• New “Star Wars” merchandise coming to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is now available to view and add to your wishlist on DisneyStore.com.

• Guests at the D23 Ultimate Fan Event can be among the first to meet Bluey and Bingo in an official Disney capacity.

• Despite initial confusion, the colloquially called Disney Parks panel will still likely not be live-streamed from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. 
• Ahead of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this weekend, the Disney Parks Blog has previewed some of the merchandise that will be available from Mickey’s of Glendale, the Walt Disney Imagineering store.
