As invited media, Disney provided WDWNT with a gift card for food and beverages, so some of the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide our honest thoughts on all below.
Disneyland’s Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante is serving up a new Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff, Iced Mexican “Hot” Chocolate, and Churro Loops con Cajeta for Halloween Time 2024.
These treats are available at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante through November 14.
*NEW* Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff – $8.29
Filled with pumpkin mousse and salted dulce de leche
This is a moist pastry but we think we would have liked it better if it was just pumpkin mousse. There isn’t much of a pumpkin flavor and we didn’t like the filling inside much. Overall, it was too tart. If you want something with a good pumpkin flavor that will remind you of fall, look elsewhere.

*NEW* Iced Mexican “Hot” Chocolate – $6.99
With whipped cream and chocolate shavings (Non-alcoholic)
This tastes like cinnamon added to Nesquik chocolate milk. The iced hot chocolate itself is really sweet. Really everything about this drink is super sweet and super spiced. While some people may enjoy this because of how sweet it is, it was just too much for us.

*NEW* Churro Loops con Cajeta – $6.99
Fried churro loops tossed with spiced cinnamon sugar and served with cajeta caramel
These are perfect, and thankfully will be around through January 4, 2025, so you have plenty of time to try them. The churro is golden, crispy, and light. The cajeta caramel sauce is like dulce de leche. You don’t need it but it adds a bit of a condensed milk caramel flavor. This is easily the highlight of Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante also features the returning Cantaloupe Agua Fresca ($6.99) available through January 4, 2025. If you’re looking for another tasty sweet treat, check out the park’s new Halloween strawberry beignets at Tiana’s Palace.
