Two different closures have been announced for “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park.

“it’s a small world” Closures

Colorful façade of the "It's a Small World" attraction, featuring animated dolls and moving parts within a fantasy-style building adorned with various designs and clocks. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, this whimsical experience adds a touch of star power to every visit.

“it’s a small world” will undergo two lengthy closures over the next few months at Disneyland. First, the attraction will close on September 16, as it transitions to “it’s a small world” Holiday, which is set to open on November 15. This annual ride overlay includes holiday theming which will added throughout the attraction while it is closed. During the two-month closure, the ride will also undergo general maintenance.

“it’s a small world” Holiday will then close on January 21, and “it’s a small world” is expected to remain closed for a few additional months as it receives general and ride system maintenance. The ride is expected to reopen in spring 2025, though an official reopening date has yet to be announced.
