We reviewed all the Halloween Horror Nights 33 food and drink items available at Universal Studios Florida. Now we’ve narrowed those down to the best and the worst menu items of the annual event.
The Worst 7
#7 – Eye of Otis Mocktail (Fanta’s Bridge Bar)
The Eye of Otis cocktail is slightly better than the mocktail, but neither is particularly good. The mocktail was downright disgusting.

#6 – Forbidden Falafel (Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines)
This falafel should be forbidden. It’s chalky and dry with bland pita.

#5 – Garraka’s Icy Breath (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #1)
The “Ghostbusters” booths look great but the menus leave a lot to be desired. We don’t know who the audience is for this non-alcoholic drink. It’s not sweet enough for kids to want it and it’s not interesting enough for adults — and it’s not good.

#4 – Slimer’s Korean Corndog (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #1)
This corndog is impossible to eat since the skewer goes all the way through. But you don’t want to try to eat it anyway, it’s an abomination.

#3 – Abbott’s Farm Corn Chowder (A Quiet Place)
This is mostly warm water with a hint of corn. The two shrimp didn’t make a difference.

#2 – Sinist3r Spritz (Lombard’s Fanta Bar)
This is just Fanta Orange with alcohol but you can’t taste the Fanta — just Aperol. It’s gross.

#1 – The Frozen Death Chill (Ivan’s, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #2)
We’re back at a “Ghostbusters” booth for our least favorite offering. It’s terrible. It tastes like toothpaste. We’re not sure what it is other than a mistake.

The Best 7
#7 – Twisted Tater (Twisted Taters)
There’s a reason Twisted Taters are a Halloween Horror Nights staple. They’re fried, greasy, salty, and easy to eat on the go. You can’t go wrong with the seasoning salt, which is the original classic. Crispiness varies but the taters are good either way.

#6 – Mini Stay-Puft S’more (Ivan’s, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire #2)
All of the other “Ghostbusters” items disappointed us but this s’more was a winner. It’s simple but delicious. It takes an adorable photo and it’s easily shareable.

#5 – Pepperoni Pizza Skulls (57 Scare)
This is another classic treat that’s easy to eat on the go. The pizza crust shell is good. It’s stuffed with mozzarella, marinara, and plenty of pepperoni.

#4 – Shirley Black (Slaughter Sinema 2 / The Carey Drive-In)
This was the best cocktail we had at HHN 33 even though it’s a pre-mixed drink. The blueberry popping pearls are a nice touch. The alcohol is masked. Everything is well balanced.

#3 – Cyclops Cup (Major Sweets Candy Factory)
This is messy and hard to cut but it’s worth the effort because it’s delicious. The shell is dark chocolate and the filling is like a fluffy ice cream.

#2 – Vegan Walking Taco (Slaughter Sinema 2 / The Carey Drive-In)
This looks disgusting but it’s legitimately spicy with a strong flavor and a robust texture profile.

#1 – Slashed Siblings Sweet Sampler (Triplets of Terror)
The bubblegum mousse balloon is phenomenal. It tastes like Bazooka bubble Gum with a bright and balanced flavor. The texture is great.
The funfetti cupcake is simple but well done. The cake is moist with rich frosting.
The chocolate cheesecake cone is done well, too. It’s rich with dark chocolate on the outside and a nice bite from the cheesecake.
All three are tasty and the presentation is good.
