EPCOT
- The canopy structure has been completely removed from the entrance to Test Track at EPCOT, as well as the car-like element from the ride’s main sign.
Disney Springs
- It’s a new month, which means a new limited edition cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse. For September, it’s the return of the Sea Turtle Cookie.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Construction continues at The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk, which finally is starting to look like an actual building.
Disneyland Resort
- Mirabel’s sisters from “Encanto,” Isabela and Luisa, are both coming to Disneyland Park to meet guests starting this week.
- Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure has introduced a new Halloween Cocktail for the 2024 Halloween season, and we gave it a review.
- Plaza de la Familia has a number of returning dishes for the Halloween season, and of course, we reviewed them all too.
- A new plant-based brownie is now available at Alien Pizza Planet in Disneyland Park. Read our review.
- A cute new Raccoon Cake Pop is now available at Disneyland Park for the fall season.
- Award Wieners has introduced two new seasonal menu items for the fall, and we reviewed them both.
- Disneyland is offering its own take on the Mexican sandwich Torta Cubana, available at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

- After 18 years, the Disney Movie Insiders program is being sunsetted.
Universal Studios
Universal Orlando Resort
- To celebrate “Back to Hogwarts,” Universal Orlando released new details and concept art for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, a ride coming soon as part of Epic Universe.
- A new raptor paddock “Jurassic World” float has joined the Universal Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida.
- Guests can meet a number of Halloween Horror Nights 33 characters throughout the night at The HHN Bar in Universal Studios Florida.
- New Lil’ Boo decorations have sprung up in Universal CityWalk Orlando for the Halloween season.
- Lil’ Boo can also be found on new merchandise items in the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.
