The Oriental Land Company has announced full details for Disney Christmas 2024, which runs at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from November 15 through December 25, 2024.

Disney Christmas 2024 Entertainment

This marks the final year for the “Disney Christmas Stories” parade at Tokyo Disneyland, as it will be performing its “Fond Farewell.” The parade features seven different stories, with characters including Donald Duck with Daisy, Huey, Dewey, and Louie; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; Mickey Mouse with Minnie, Goofy, Max, Pluto, Chip, and Dale; and more as they all spend time with their loved ones.

During the parade, bells ring to signify the start of the Christmas festivities. This year, the music that will be played after the “party” will change to represent the conclusion of these Christmas stories.

There are three parade stops in the show: one between Westernland and Fantasyland, another at the Plaza, and the final stop between Tomorrowland and Toontown. Disney Christmas Stories performs once daily for about 45 minutes along the parade route.

A special Christmas version of “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights” will be presented for a limited time.

At Tokyo DisneySea, Mickey, Duffy, and more will appear on a boat decorated for the holiday season and wave to guests as music plays in the “Disney Christmas Greeting.” Santa Claus will also appear.

“Disney Christmas Greeting” takes place in Mediterranean Harbor, and lasts about 15 minutes. It will be performed one to two times daily.

“Starbright Christmas” fireworks will return this year, with a display to light up the night sky alongside Christmas music. Keep in mind that the fireworks may not be presented depending on the park’s operating schedule.

Decorations

A 15-meter (49-foot) tall Christmas tree will be on display in World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland. Ornaments of Li’l RingRing, a Christmas elf, as well as Christmas-themed garlands and wreaths will add to the atmosphere.

At Tokyo DisneySea, another 15-meter-tall Christmas tree will be set up at American Waterfront. The tree will light up in the evenings. Cape Cod will also have its own Christmas tree with ornaments featuring designs of Duffy and Friends.

Special Merchandise

Special merchandise for Disney Christmas will be available starting November 8. Items with designs of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto enjoying the season will be available, as well as merchandise featuring Li’l RingRing, plush toys dressed in soft-colored outfits, headbands, and sweaters.

Other items include a ring with a bell attached, ear headbands inspired by Christmas wreaths, and more.

Special Menus

Special menus themed to Christmas will be available starting November 8, 2024. Plaza Pavilion Restaurant at Tokyo Disneyland will have a dessert plate and topping kit, allowing guests to customize their treats.

Tokyo DisneySea will have holiday menus as well. Horizon Bay Restaurant will offer a special set that includes a potato and egg tart shaped like a Christmas tree, along with a grilled beef dish with a creamy white sauce.

Both parks will offer festive sandwich sets with Li’l RingRing-inspired wrapping, menu items that come with souvenirs, and holiday beverages served in cups with a Christmas flair.

Dazzling Christmas in New York

At Tokyo DisneySea, “Dazzling Christmas in New York” will take over the New York area of the American Waterfront.

Here, the residents of New York have been preparing for the holiday season with a number of offerings, including festive merchandise, specialty food, and decorations. At night, the lights on the decor will make the New York area even brighter.

In Waterfront Park, carts will sell customizable plush charms and pouches that guests can use to craft their own ornaments. Beverages and menu items wrapped in “Dazzling Christmas in New York” packaging will also be here. In addition, snowman versions of Mickey and friends will be on display, wearing matching Christmas scarves and hats.

Three special Christmas-themed atmosphere entertainment offerings will be presented around Waterfront Park: “Christmas Carolers” will perform a cappella harmonies, the “Holly Jolly Trio” will serenade guests while strolling around, and the “Holiday Wonder Band” will get everyone in the spirit with musical performances.

Attractions

The Country Bear Theater holiday overlay, “Jingle Bell Jamboree,” will return to Tokyo Disneyland this holiday season after a five-year hiatus.

Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare will return for the Halloween and holiday seasons from September 19, 2024 through January 13, 2025.

Duffy and Friends’ Dancing Snowflakes

Starting November 2, 2024 at Tokyo DisneySea, designs of Duffy and Friends enjoying winter in Cape Cod will be featured on merchandise and meal items with a souvenir.

Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages

Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages will include plans that come with photo opportunities with Disney characters in festive attire, as well as plans including viewings of entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland like “Disney Christmas Stories ‘Fond Farewell.'”

The start date for selecting plan options and details of those plans will be announced as soon as they are determined.

Disney Hotels

From November 8 through December 25, Disney hotel restaurants at Tokyo Disney Resort will offer Disney Christmas menus, featuring the chef’s signature dishes.

Empire Grill at Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer a Christmas-themed course meal and a snowflake-decorated dessert. Select menu items at each restaurant will also come with a special character charm.

At BellaVista Lounge in Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, guests can also enjoy course meals, but with views of the holiday decor in the park through the restaurant’s large windows.

Canna in Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will offer course meals alongside a poinsettia-inspired dessert.

Each hotel will also be decked out in holiday decorations. This year, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel will also decorate for the season, having just opened earlier this year.

Disney Resort Line

Disney Resort Line will have special designs for Disney Christmas on the monorail trains. Disney Christmas-themed day passes and souvenir medallions will also be available.

Keep in mind that depending on availability, day passes and souvenir medallions can sell out or be discontinued during the event.

Ikspiari

At Ikspirari, a seven-meter-tall (23-feet-tall) Christmas tree will be on display at Celebration Plaza. Other Christmas trees, wreaths, and lights will decorate the shopping and dining district.
