The opening date for the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree has been officially confirmed.
The venue, formerly known as the Hungry Bear Restaurant, will open on October 25 with a new look and menu. The restaurant closed on July 8 for a scheduled “kitchen refurbishment,” and the changes were announced after it closed.
The restaurant will have new Country Bears theming and play music from all iterations of the show. The new name is a reference to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom, which opened this summer.
The full menu has been revealed already, with dishes inspired by food the Country Bears discovered while on tour.
Hungry Bear Restaurant was part of Critter Country at Disneyland, which is set to be renamed Bayou Country when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on November 15. Much of the land has seen changes to reflect the new name. While Disneyland is no longer home to a Country Bears attraction, a statue of Big Al was recently installed at Disney California Adventure.
