Disneyland has released a Haunted Mansion Christmas shirt this year, even though the standard version of The Haunted Mansion doesn’t operate during the holiday season.
Haunted Mansion Christmas T-shirt – $29.99
We found the shirt in Emporium at Disneyland Park. It’s a black straight-cut T-shirt. The graphic on the front features an off-white sketch of the Haunted Mansion’s classic facade. There are bats in the sky and snow falling, with drifts accumulating on the ground around the gravestones.
In front of the Mansion stand the Hitchhiking ghosts (from left to right: Phineas, Ezra, and Gus). They’re dressed for the season. Phineas wears a Dickens-esque cloak and top hat, Ezra wears a Santa hat and a red bowtie, and Gus wears red ribbons around his wrist manacles. Their outfits are depicted in lime green.
The matching text reads, “Making Spirits Bright,” a play on both the spirits that occupy The Haunted Mansion and the “Jingle Bells” lyric. The Disneyland Resort logo is below.
While this shirt is currently not available online, check out the Christmas collection from the Disney Store.
Haunted Mansion Holiday
At Disneyland Park, the Haunted Mansion undergoes a seasonal overlay from Halloween Time through the end of the winter holidays. During that time, the attraction is themed to “The Nightmare Before Christmas” as Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Notably, the Hitchhiking Ghosts do not appear in Haunted Mansion Holiday. Perhaps, on the shirt, they’re outside looking for a ride, since misfit toys have taken over their usual way of following people home.

The Haunted Mansion is open but currently using a virtual queue. The physical queue for the attraction is under construction as the gardens are reimagined. A new elevator system for accessibility is being built, as well as a new gift shop. Check out our latest construction update.
