New Themed Main Street Popcorn Buckets at the Kernel Kitchen in Magic Kingdom

The Kernel Kitchen, part of the Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom, has new themed Main Street Popcorn buckets.

A double-door entrance of a building with a balcony above, featuring a gold clock sign and ornate lanterns on either side. One door is open, revealing a partial view of the interior and two individuals.

The Kernel Kitchen is located in what used to be the Chapeau but was taken over by the Confectionery when it underwent a major reimagining in 2021. Guests can visit the Kernel Kitchen through any Confectionery entrance, but the doors facing Town Square will lead directly to the popcorn counter.

Main Street Popcorn

A container of Mickey Mouse-themed Main Street Popcorn, straight from Kernel Kitchen, boasts a clear lid and delightful red and white stripes with cartoon characters on the label.

The popcorn at the Main Street Confectionery comes in a variety of flavors and mixes, including a create-your-own option. Rather than the plain white tubs they used to be served in, the new buckets are themed to the location.

The new containers are still disposable and have a clear plastic lid. They have red stripes like a classic popcorn box, and the front reads, “Mickey’s Main Street Popcorn.”

Mickey and Minnie are on either side of the text, both clad in era-appropriate garb. Their outfits are reminiscent of the Dapper Dans, with stripes and straw hats.

Another part of the Main Street Confectionery recently saw changes. Over at the Glacier Kitchen counter, some of the unique flavors of slush have been swapped out, and the specialty drinks have been removed from the menu.
