The Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom has opened a day early following a six-month-long refurbishment. The Confectionery has dozens of new treats, but before we start eating, let’s take a look around the updated candy shop!
The Confectionery is now sponsored by Mars Wrigley, so you’ll see many of their products available.
The new, spacious design puts the confections counter in the center of the shop, with displays of candy throughout.
Signs on the columns inside tell us more about the “Sweetest Spoon Showcase” characters we saw in one of the window displays.
Disney previously shared images of the new M&M’s and Skittles candy wall, where guests can mix-and-match their favorite colors.
Guests can still watch sweets and treats be created in the Confectionery Kitchen.
One display is dedicated to all of the new 50th anniversary snacks.
Where once was the Chapeau is now the Kernel Kitchen.
Here, guests can customize a bag of popcorn with different candy combinations.
There are also three Main Street favorites if you’re having trouble deciding what to get.
Signs for the Chapeau—which closed alongside the Confectionery in March—have also been removed from the exterior of the building.
