Universal Studios Hollywood has announced two anime IPs (intellectual properties) for its upcoming Universal Fan Fest Nights, happening in spring 2025.
‘One Piece’ and ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Coming to Universal Fan Fest Nights
Universal shared on social media that fans will “set sail into the world of ‘One Piece'” during Universal Fan Fest Nights, with guests having the opportunity to meet Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, according to the Universal Studios Hollywood website.
Also on the park’s website, “Jujutsu Kaisen” has also been added. Guests will be able to “watch Yuji Itadori and friends as they join in a Jujutsu Kaisen sorcery battle.”
Other properties that will be represented at Universal Fan Fest Nights include Star Trek, Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which will include a Niffler encounter. All of the experiences and activations planned will be offered simultaneously every event night.
In addition, guests will be able to enjoy select theme park attractions during the event, including Jurassic World – The Ride, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff, Transformers: The Ride-3D, Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride, and The Simpsons Ride.
The event will also offer a themed menu and merchandise like collectibles, apparel, drinkware, accessories, and more.
Per the Universal Studios Hollywood webpage, the lineup for the event “is expanding with more to be revealed,” so stay tuned for more updates.
Universal Fan Fest Nights will be a separately ticketed event that takes place on select nights:
- April 25, 26 and 27, 2025
- May 2, 3 and 4, 2025
- May 9, 10, 11, 2025
- May 16, 17, and 18, 2025
Tickets are not yet on sale, but guests are encouraged to sign up for the email list for more information.
