Only a few weeks remain until the DVC Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opens. The mural work on the exterior has expanded, and even patio furniture has been set up in the balconies.

DVC Island Tower Construction

Workers on scaffolding bring to life a building under construction, its facade adorned with a large decorative pattern reminiscent of the Polynesian Village Resort. In the foreground, trees and landscaping frame the scene, hinting at where Disney dreams meet vibrant reality.

Painters are still working on the mural at the far-right the entrance to the Island Tower. The boards have also been removed from the patios along its right wing, likely since work has concluded in that space.

Painting and rock work can still be seen at the base of the building under the mural.

Workers on a suspended platform perform maintenance on a tall building's facade, using a large crane for support, while ensuring the style remains as charming as the Polynesian Village Resort.

On the opposite side of the entrance, mural work carefully continues around the windows. The white rock work at the bottom of the tower appears to be complete.

Previously, the walkway behind Fiji was blocked by the walls surrounding the construction. Now that the concrete work has been completed in this area, the walls have been pushed back all the way to the pool’s fence line.
