The third and final new entertainment act for this holiday season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Holiday Spirit Band, whose performances feature a special appearance from Max Goof.

When we saw the band out on its first day of performances, the show was performed in Animation Courtyard. It’s important to note that this entertainment offering is not listed on the My Disney Experience app, and they do change locations in the afternoon.
The band consists of two trumpet players, a trombone player, a tuba player, and a snare drummer with a cymbal and tambourine. The group performed lively renditions of holiday classics. Their “uniform” is quite casual, with green and red button-down shirts, brown cargo shorts, ties, and Santa hats.
Max joins the group shortly after they stop in Animation Courtyard. He can be seen conducting the band, dancing about, and waving to guests watching.
Audience participation is encouraged during certain parts of the show, where Max gathers guests into a “parade” as they march about the performance area to “Jingle Bells.”
The Holiday Spirit Band joins two other new entertainment acts for the 2024 holiday season: Seasons Jukebox and The Juggling Elves (featuring Donald Duck). Santa Claus has also begun meeting guests during the day at It’s A Wonderful Shop.
