As 2024 comes to a close, Disneyland has multiple fresh new offerings that debuted this year or are on the way soon! If you have not been to Disneyland Resort recently, these are four things to look forward to:

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Scenic view of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a theme park attraction resembling a rustic mountain with lush greenery, a wooden watermill, and a water tower. The clear blue sky in the background enhances the inviting ambiance.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is also opened at Walt Disney World, opened at Disneyland on November 15. This ride replaces Splash Mountain and features the same ride layout with a new storyline, animatronics, music, and theming. Alongside the exciting new attraction are two new gift shops: Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club, both offering merchandise themed to New Orleans, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and “The Princess and the Frog” film.

Despite opening recently, the attraction is still new and will make for a great experience for those planning to visit in 2025!

Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic Show

A man sits on the edge of a desk in an office-like setup, with a map and windows depicting an urban scene behind him. The room, reminiscent of Disneyland attractions, features dark blue curtains and an audience is partially visible in the foreground.

During the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney announced “Walt Disney – A Magical Life.” This show will rotate with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln in the Main Street Opera House. The show will feature the first-ever Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic and tell the story of his life journey, leading to a visit in his office.

This exciting new show is set to open May 16th, 2025 alongside the Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration.

The Haunted Mansion Standby Queue and Gift Shop

A tree adorned with lights stands in a brick-lined garden reminiscent of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion, surrounded by a winding metal railing path.

Exciting things are materializing outside the original Haunted Mansion. After a long downtime starting in January 2024, the mansion finally invites guests in again. This past November, a new queue, which expands the standby space while adding to the attraction’s story with new gardens, opened to guests.

The gardens feature references to Master Gracey, Madame Leota, the one-eyed cat, and even early conceptual ideas for the mansion such as the original owner being a sea captain. Statues, a fountain, and plants create an immersive atmosphere and build anticipation for the attraction ahead.

A sign reads "Madame Leota's Somewhere Beyond" in stylized lettering, illuminated by two lamps, against a green wall. This enchanting scene sets the tone for the Haunted Mansion gift shop.

Additionally, a new gift shop will be opening soon outside the mansion. “Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond” will further add to the story of the Haunted Mansion while selling attraction-specific spooky merchandise.

Disneyland 70th Anniversary

Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary logo proudly displays the slogan "The Happiest Place on Earth" against a vibrant orange background.

The original Disney theme park celebrates its 70th year of operation in 2025! To celebrate, Disney is introducing tons of new offerings, returning nostalgic classics, and, of course, unveiling countless new food and merchandise options!

The festivities begin May 16th with the debut of Walt Disney – A Magical Life, World of Color Happiness! Nighttime Spectacular, decorations across the resort, and so much more.

These are just a few of the many new things to see and experience at Disneyland Resort!
