Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Christmas Decorations
The Great Ceremonial House is home to the resort’s lobby, Monorail station, and restaurants. The porte-cochère, which was newly constructed in 2021, is lined in green garlands for the holidays.
Fishing nets, ropes, and strings of beads hang from the garlands. They are covered in tropical flowers and other plants, as well as round ornaments. Colorful glass balls hang in macrame.
Wreaths are on the planks jutting out from the porte-cochère. These have sticks running through them, with glass balls hanging from the ends. Instead of bows on the tops of the wreaths, they have fishing nets draped across them.
There are more garlands and decorations under the porte-cochère, hanging over the road and walkways.
Decorations are on the columns lining the entrance pathway. These have more nets and glass ornaments, as well as seashells and woven flowers.
A more complex decorative element with similar adornments hangs above the main entrance doors.
Illuminated garlands and wreaths hang throughout the lobby. There are small trees in the corners and in front of windows.
The wreaths have burlap ribbons, colorful flowers, and sculpted fish figures.
Tree decorations include orange ribbons, corals, pineapples, and wooden turtle.
The garlands feature red tinsel and feathery orange plants. The ornaments also appear to be made of natural materials and rope.
The bridge to the Monorail station features decorations of tropical leaves and brightly-colored flowers. They hang from bamboo with strings of translucent beads and nets.
At the elevator bay is another large wreath full of fish figures.
Garlands hang above the check-in desks.
This Christmas tree sits in a bamboo box. It has large snowflake decorations made of white mesh with red poinsettias. Other decorations include strings of bells and bowls.
A lute, carved turtle, and small surfboards are tucked into the branches.
Garlands with matching decorations hang outside BouTiki, the first-story gift shop.
Inside the store are more wreaths. A small tree sits on a merchandise display.
These wreaths are set against ribbon with zig-zag designs. They have orange, white, and pink tropical flowers. The ornaments are translucent, amber, and blue.
The tiki statues in the store also wear wreaths around their necks.
Garlands punctuated by red flowers hang over the merch displays.
