With the announcement of the opening date for Donkey Kong Country, an expansion of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, the resort has announced two special offers. One is a ticket to guarantee entry to the new land, and the other is a passholder preview opportunity.
Universal Express Pass – Donkey Kong Special
A special Express Pass exclusively for Donkey Kong Mine-Cart Madness will be offered. In addition to the one-time access to the ride, guests can choose one of the following options:
- Donkey Kong Mine-Cart Madness ride photo
- Yoshi’s Adventure ride photo
- A 2,200 yen (tax included) shopping coupon, valid for purchases at Super Nintendo World merchandise shops
This Express Pass option will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. JT on November 13 and can be used between December 11 – 31, 2024.
It will cost 4,200-8,400 yen based on the date of use and can be purchased at the Universal Studios Japan website.
Passholder Preview
Guests with the Grand Royal annual pass will be invited to a preview/early experience event before December 11. The date for the preview has not been announced at this time. The resort warns that if many people sign up for the event, a lottery may be used to select guests for entry.
