The holiday season has officially begun at Disneyland Resort, and “it’s a small world” Holiday is now open. The festive overlay turns each scene of the classic Disneyland attraction into a celebration of Christmas, New Year’s, and other winter holidays.
“it’s a small world” Holiday
Outside, the ride’s famous clock face has donned a Santa hat. A “happy holidays!” sign is above the attraction’s name. At night, the facade is illuminated with Christmas lights.
Flats in the entrance tunnel of “it’s a small world” wish guests “Happy Holidays.” There are giant gift boxes with a jack in the box and gingerbread man. A white archway leads to the North Pole.
Each scene is decorated with lights and extra props, like a “Seasons Greetings” banner under a crescent moon.
An illuminated “2025” sign hangs on a moon with Baby New Year over the France display. “Vrolijk Kerstfeest” is on a gingerbread-style archway. The phrase means “Merry Christmas” in Dutch.
Giant candy canes, lollipops, and gumdrops hang from the sky.
Fireworks appear to blast off in the Asia room.
Lights are strung through the leaf canopy of the jungle section.
There are light-up baubles around the animals.
A large glowing “Feliza Navidad” archway leads into the South America scenes.
Bubble-like garlands are around Ariel. The nearby sea serpent wears a pink wreath around its neck and a blue Santa cap on its head.
A Christmas cactus is behind Woody and Jessie. “Ho Ho Holidays” is on the exit archway of this room, below illuminated stars and the silhouette of Santa in his sleigh.
The final room features a giant light-up snowman with a “Happy Holidays” sign. Strings of lights hang from the ceiling with light-up medallion decorations featuring toys, stars, reindeer, fireworks, and more. White garlands with golden baubles and bows are throughout.
As guests exit this room, they’ll see a light-up “Peace on Earth” sign. A group of people hold hands on an image of a globe with holly, doves, and snowflakes.
The final tunnel features holiday and winter-themed postcards.
