The gift shop in Donkey Kong Country at Universal Studios Japan is Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy. It’s inspired by Funky Kong’s shop of the same name from Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy
The gift shop resembles a cartoon-ish airplane sitting in the jungle. The side of the fuselage is open, with rolling shelves and barrels of merchandise on display. A broken wing stuck in the ground holds up the gift shop’s sign.
The merch display, floors, and walls inside the shop are fake wood.
Donkey Kong Country merchandise includes a Donkey Kong and Dixie Kong headband and a plush Donkey Kong hat.
There is a variety of snack items, some of which come in souvenir containers. A DK Barrel is filled with assorted treats.
There are large Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong plush, as well as small plush badges.
There will also be Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong Power-Up Bands.
Donkey Kong Country
The main attraction of Donkey Kong Country is the Mine-Cart Madness roller-coaster. Guests can also meet Donkey Kong and dine at Jungle Beat Shakes.
