Gingerbread locations at Walt Disney World Resort hotels introduced a new offering — the gingerbread house bucket with sweets inside. However, the bucket sold out within two days.
Gingerbread House Bucket
The bucket was the same gingerbread house bucket first introduced at Disneyland. It later became available at Magic Kingdom exclusively during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This week, it became available at the gingerbread locations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
The plastic bucket resembles a gingerbread house with icing and candy decorations, including Mickey icons on the roof shingles. Mickey and Minnie-inspired gingerbread cookies are attached to the house. It has a detachable lanyard strap.
At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the bucket was sold with peppermint bark and a Mickey gingerbread cookie. The other resorts reportedly sold the bucket with different sweets.
Unfortunately, the bucket sold out at all three resorts as of Friday morning. We do not know if any more buckets will be stocked at the resorts. The sweet treats are still available to purchase individually.
