REVIEW: Start Your Day with the Pineapple-Coconut Bread at DVC Island Tower

A new Pineapple-Coconut Bread is available at the DVC Island Tower and we were there to give it a try.

The entrance of Wailele Bar & Grill, nestled beneath the island tower, features a sign displaying hours of operation and offers a glimpse into the inviting seating area inside.

The Pineapple-Coconut Bread is available for purchase during breakfast hours at Wailulu Bar & Grill at the DVC Island Tower.

The Pineapple-Coconut Bread is a Hawaiian sweet bread made with pineapple and coconut and a drizzle of icing and glaze on the top.

It was fresh, moist, and had a significant flavor of pineapple, but we couldn’t taste very much coconut. It’s likely the sweetest breakfast item on the limited menu, but a good choice if you’re in the mood for a sweet pastry.

The outdoor patio features island-inspired geometric floor tiles, accompanied by tables, chairs, lush plants, and overhead fans. Near the entrance stands a person with a backpack, offering a charming view of the distant tower.

All the breakfast items at Wailulu Bar & Grill are grab-and-go and come packaged in a plastic clamshell container. This makes it convenient to take them with you on your way to a park or you can opt to sit in the restaurant and enjoy.
