Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Extends Closure Amid Cold Weather

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will extend its closure for another two days as cold weather continues to impact Central Florida.

Blizzard Beach Closure Extended

A water park offers a thrilling daily recap with its towering slide, resembling a snow-covered mountain under a clear blue sky, surrounded by lush trees and rocky landscaping.

The water park has been closed since Monday, January 20, and was previously scheduled to reopen today, January 22, 2025. Blizzard Beach will remain closed through Friday, January, 24, and is scheduled to reopen Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. according to the Walt Disney World website.

According to weather.com, today will see a high of 50°F with a low of 42°F. Thursday will have a high of 49°F with a low of 36°F. Friday will see a high of 57°F with a low of 35°F.

Blizzard Beach has closed multiple times this month due to the cold weather in Central Florida.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is currently closed for the season.
