Disney Cruise Line has posted several auditions for the new Disney Destiny cruise ship.

The postings for singers, dancers, and actors include this description teasing Disney Cruise Line’s new “Disney Hercules” show.

The Disney Destiny cruise ship will launch late 2025 featuring the much-anticipated, exclusive to the Disney Destiny – Disney Hercules – Director/Choreographers Marcel and Kevin Wilson will bring to life this fresh and modern take tailor-made for a live theatre audience. Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure will round out the repertory offerings. We’ll hire a skilled cast of repertory singers, actors, and dancers for the Walt Disney Theatre. Disney Cruise Line is seeking mainstage vocalists to portray Muses, Hercules, Meg, Phil, Pain, and Panic. These postings also list “Frozen” characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and the Duke of Weselton, as well as Tiana, who has a featured song in “Disney Seas the Adventure.”
This is Disney Cruise Line’s second “Hercules” show. It will be narrated by the Muses with updated musical arrangements and the new ballad “Shooting Star.” “Disney Seas the Adventure” debuted on the Disney Wish and “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” debuted on the Disney Wonder.
Postings for character performers list the following characters:
- Performers portraying Female-Identifying Look-alike roles such as: Belle, Cruella, Maleficent, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Princess Rapunzel, Princess Tiana, Rey, and more.
- Performers portraying Male-Identifying Look-alike roles such as: Black Panther, Bruno, Captain Jack Sparrow, Dr. Facilier, Loki, Spider-Man, and more.
The Disney Destiny will have Marvel theming, including a Black Panther atrium statue and Spider-Man stern figure, so Marvel characters may appear more than on other Disney Cruise Line ships.
Depending on their skill set, Disney Cruise Line performers may appear in both main stage shows and for characters meet and greets.
Auditions will be held in New York, North Hollywood, Atlanta, and London throughout January, February, and March. Rehearsals will be in Toronto, Canada in mid-2025. The Disney Destiny will leave on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025.
