The new Disney Storyland Boutique has officially opened in Downtown Disney District. Disney revealed the shop’s façade just a few days ago. It’s the latest of several new venues in Downtown Disney District, which has been undergoing a reimagining.
Disney Storyland Boutique
Disney Storyland Boutique takes over the former Wonderground Gallery and temporary Disney Dress Shop storefront. The new “boutique” sells apparel, plush, bags, and create-your-own plush headbands.
Inside, the store’s layout hasn’t changed, just the decor. A column near the door is wrapped in a pink cherry blossom decal to go along with a new pink collection.
The column is topped with a neon cherry blossom branch. Character-inspired and neon letters on the back wall spell out “Storyland.” Some of the merchandise displays are dedicated to specific characters, with artwork of that character. Like a close-up of Stitch in a lighted box among Stitch and Angel merch items.
The create-your-own plush headband station is on the right wall. Guests can pick out different plush characters to slide onto a headband, creating a custom accessory. There are neon depictions of Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.” and Baymax above merchandise dedicated to them.
Behind the checkout counter are neon signs of characters like Lotso, Goofy, and Minnie. There’s a pink neon “Disney Storyland Boutique” sign.
Other merchandise displays are dedicated to Winnie the Pooh and his friends, and Marie from “The Aristocats.”
The walls, shelves, and display units are white.
Neon depictions of Stitch, the Cheshire Cat, and Donald are in the back corner. This area used to be dedicated to Pandora jewelry but that counter has been removed.
Other new stores at Downtown Disney District include Wonderful World of Sweets, The D-Lander Shop, and Avengers Reserve.
