Nearly Illegible Road Signs Finally Replaced at Walt Disney World

Following the replacement of one road sign near Disney’s Animal Kingdom, two more faded signs at Walt Disney World have finally been replaced.

New Road Signs

A road leads to enchanting Disney attractions, with faded road signs for Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom straight ahead. The next right takes you to Disney's All-Star Resort in the vibrant world of Walt Disney World, framed by trees and a clear sky.

When leaving Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests will now have a much easier time reading directions. The sign on the left directing guests straight ahead has now been updated to match the sign on the right.

Additionally, a second sign directing guests right to Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Blizzard Beach Water Park, and Coronado Springs has also been replaced.

Faded Road Signs

As we previously reported back in December, one of the extremely faded signs on the road exiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom had been replaced. The left sign, however, was untouched and almost impossible to read. This image shows the left sign in the same location before its removal. The second equally faded sign can also be seen in the distance.

The highway exit sign for Disney Springs and Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, with an arrow pointing right, has been replaced to ensure visitors to Walt Disney World don't miss their magical getaway.

All three of these sign replacements are part of a project by Disney to not only replace faded signs but also update their color scheme. The new signs are dark blue with a lighter blue stripe across the bottom and white letters. The previous road signs, which had been installed in the 1990s, were purple with a red stripe across the bottom.
