Disney Pal-Palooza: Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World is now underway at Tokyo Disneyland. Vanellope from “Wreck-It Ralph” has transformed the park with candy-inspired decorations.
Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World Decorations
The entrance to Tokyo Disneyland has a new “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World” sign and banners. Mickey & Friends were excited to show guests the new décor.
A giant heart-shaped cookie featuring Vanellope’s face is with lollipops above the Tokyo Disneyland sign. The lights on either side of the “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World” sign are striped pink.
The banners hang on the columns of the World Bazaar entrance. They’re mostly teal and pink. They feature images of different colorful snacks like ice cream, popcorn, and lollipops.
These banners feature churros, candies, and jelly beans. The Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World logo on each banner has teal lettering, a cherry, and chocolate frosting.
The two central banners have pointed ends and sprinkles falling. One features the logo while the other depicts Vanellope.
Inside the park, lampposts are adorned with pennants featuring different characters dressed up for the festivities. Daisy, Goofy, and Donald are each on their own flags, which have ice cream-like toppers covered in sprinkles and a lollipop medallion.
Minnie is on a pink pennant wearing her new pink costume. Chip, Dale, and Clarice share a pennant. There are also pennants that just showcase the Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World logo.
Of course, Vanellope herself is on some of the pennants. She’s pictured in her classic “Wreck-It Ralph” outfit including a teal hoodie, licorice hair tie, and chocolate skirt.
Bench covers in the hub around Cinderella Castle feature a candy stripe design. Candies like jelly beans are pictured in the center, while sprinkles are across white ice cream or frosting on top.
Some sculptures are in the flowerbeds around the hub. A pink sign reads “Sweets Garden Party.” Giant lollipops are around the sign. Figures of Pluto and Minnie are in front.
A giant ice cream sundae features candy canes, jelly beans, a Mickey-shaped chocolate cream cookie, and a cookie featuring Mickey in his new Pal-Palooza costume.
Pluto is carrying a basket of sweets. Minnie has a piping bag, putting the final touches on the sign.
Another ice cream sundae features a Goofy cookie. A macaron in the sundae is also green with black Goofy ears.
Directly in front of Cinderella Castle, giant cookies with colorful icing spell out “Welcome.” On the left, Chip is jumping on a piping bag, squirting icing out. On the right, Dale is enjoying sweets while sitting on a frosting-covered topiary.
Giant fake sweets in this flowerbed are inspired by different characters. There are cake pops with duck bills — one with green frosting inspired by Donald’s outfit and one purple inspired by Daisy’s outfit. There’s also a donut on a stick with blue and white stripes and a red bowtie, resembling Donald’s standard sailor’s outfit. A sprinkle-covered flower cookie represents Daisy’s name.
A Minnie-shaped cake pop is topped with ears, pink frosting, and a cookie bow. There’s also a large bow-shaped cake pop with pink polka-dot frosting. For Mickey, there’s a red cake pop with brown frosting and a shoe-shaped cake pop covered in yellow frosting.
The trash cans are pink with teal trim and images of lollipops. The recycling bins are light pink with darker pink trim and the Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World logo.
Disney Pal-Palooza: Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World runs through March 26. Check out the event parade.
