The Voices of Liberty, an acapella group that performs at The American Adventure in EPCOT, debuted new costumes made from recycled materials. The debut was part of the opening day of the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.

The Voices of Liberty used to wear colonial costumes for every performance. However, when they returned to the Rotunda after COVID-19, they ditched the garb for modern blue and red outfits.

During the Festival of the Holidays, they wear themed costumes to perform as the Dickens Carolers.

The new costumes were designed to be distinct from one another in tribute to the way acapella performances feature distinct voices coming together to create the harmony. Materials used were made from 50+% recycled materials and dyed colors reflective of a vintage American flag.

There’s an array of costumes, ranging in colors from red and pink to blue and gold. The new dresses are maroon, light pink, hot pink, cream, and navy blue with gold. Each dress has swirled detailing around the bodice and front flaps of the skirt. Meanwhile, the new jackets come in cream, tan, red, azure blue, and sky blue. The jackets each have a slightly different cut, from a long jacket with coattails to a thigh-length straight jacket.

The new costumes also have unique variations for each Cast Member, including the shape of each collar and the location of the swirled pinstripes. Most of the costumes also have a line of matching buttons running down the center chest, although the light yellow and hot pink dresses have the buttons off-center to the right.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 17 – February 24. It’s unknown if the Voices of Liberty will continue to wear these new costumes beyond the festival.

Other Cast Member costumes have been reworked to use sustainable, breathable fabrics with movement in mind for the designs. Most of the new costumes have been at the Magic Kingdom, but Cast Members in World Celebration and World Nature also have new styles.
