I’m going away… forever!

We knew the day was coming – now we know when! This week, Disney officially set a closing date for Muppet*vision 3-D, as well as the Muppets Courtyard. We now have a ticking clock counting down to our last chance to bask in our nostalgia. We’ll talk about the closing and what we will miss most about not only Jim’s final work but this entire area of Disney’s Holywood Studios.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is now in full swing, and we’ve got looks at some of the art that makes this festival a stand out. We’ll talk a little bit about the vendors who exhibit there, as well as take a closer look at some of the other offerings. The festival takes place from now until February 24.

The next festival is EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival. This week, Disney gave us a look at some of the music acts set to perform at the “Garden Rocks!” Concert Series this year. Our panel takes a look at some of our favorites.

Looking ahead to 2025, there are several projects we’ll be closely following, including 2 with updates this week. We saw more info released about the new Little Mermaid show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this Summer. They’ve already taken down the old sign, and now we’ve seen a behind-the-scenes look at some of the new puppets for the show. We also got a closer look at the new Villans show coming this year. We’ll discuss both. At the end of 2024,

Disney introduced a new Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Originally available only to guests staying at the deluxe hotels, this was opened up to folks at all Disney resorts. Now, this premium option to skip the lines is available for everyone. But we still ask, is it worth it?

In hotel news, the first Epic Universe hotel opened last week, and we have a peek inside. At Disney, work continues on the Lakeshore Lodge coming to Disney World, and Disney’s Grand Californian and Pixar Pier hotels are getting some changes and upgrades,. We have an entire rundown for you.

Also the evolution of Downtown Disney in Disneyland continues, a new experience at Magic Kingdom, and some much-needed updates to the My Disney Experience App.

Join us for all of this and MUCH MUCH more tonight on ParksCenter!
